911 MFI Pump / Aluminium 1/2 cage / SC Seats / glass (FOC)

Hi, Having sold my 72T, Mrs G is now insisting I clear out the 911 bits in the garage which are sadly heading to Ebay. Anyway, if anyone is interested in collecting as 'free' job-lot some miscellaneous Porsche parts from Hindhead (Surrey) all of which have seen better days then they are very welcome...

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

It is, Bob used to store it for Martin. I met you Martin when you were collecting it for the weekend and Bob was fettling my 914/6 when I switched to carbs, so I think must have been 2014 or so. Must be a wrench to let it go, but glad it went well and you are pleased with the outcome, All the best ...

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

Sorry if I have missed the obvious, but was this the car that was at Bob Waton's place about 15/20 years ago, I think known as Bob's favourite car? Yup, I used to store the car at Bob Watsons when i lived in Singapore. Bob told me that she was the best handling early Porsches he had ever driven whi...

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........

Thanks for your support guys and particularly any bidders - selling the 72T was a stressful event and frankly someone has secured a real bargain. Anyway, funds gratefully received to secure my small business in survival mode as Covid (hopefully) unwinds, so fingers crossed I might be buying next yea...

Re: If you were selling - Where?

Sadly with my 72 911T going live on 'Collecting Cars' next week, I'll be well placed to let you know?

CC came highly recommended by fellow members and so far I have been impressed with their communication, knowledge and attention to detail, so fingers crossed.

LHD 72 911 ST ...ish

Hi, Having owned my 72T since 2008, it is with great sadness that I have decided to let her go :( After a few positive recommendations I have listed her on Collecting Cars where they have posted plenty of photographs, see: https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/1971-porsche-911-2-7-s-t-recreation If an...

Re: Garage Tool Peg-Board

If you can fit your tools on a peg board, you need more tools  Very true - but for now I kinda want to separate my car tools from the bike tools so I don't have to remember where to find the bloody things. Sadly I begin to dribble when I see those fancy 'Park Tool' set-ups in my local cycle sh...
