28 /32 in the wet, and 28 34 in the dry for me.

205 x 50 x 15 Kumho V70. (7'' wide Cookies)

spent ages messing with different values, but well worth it.

Richard Parr is about the most helpful person I've come across in the USA, really good. 8) He says 36mm are 'conservative' for the 3.2, and I think would go for 38mm in the 40 IDC, but Bruce Anderson says 35 for a stock 3.2... So: I've gone for the 35mm knowing i can machine them to 37.5 if needs be...

The plan is to get the Lola running by end of April, the suspension set-up too. May will be to do the brake pipes etc and wheel refurb June to fool about finishing the body and finding a seat/harness etc plus a few test days on a sprint track to settle it and me into the thing. Plan is to race it ca...

Yes I have in the past. I have had several problems with the Lola (well, lots actually) and the Radical lads always come to the rescue.
But, it is a small 'internet world'!

Thanks for the kind words. I difted off into the dark side of Subaru Imprezas for 5 years and the Bitza had a rest. The Scooby was very fast and gave me class wins, and even a class hill record, 380 bhp in 1250Kg with 4x4 and real brakes and diffs and turbos and wastegates and ecu's and trick suspen...

Ha! My wife is truey delectable and gives the very best of presents too. Permissions! She is almost a petrol head and goes along with every motor direction i take, but i've been married to her for 31 years, so the Bitza is still a Mistress... The car is a 911T, originally LHD and from German...

Just dug this out of the back garden...

Not quite, but just got my Bitza 911 from under a leaf covered awning where it has been since early October last year. Pumped up the tyre, charged the batteries, turned the key and vrroooom! Straight onto 6 cylinders, slipped into gear and burbled out into the spring sunlight. Will thrash it to an i...

911 2 Litre carb manifolds with strengthening ribs, original

As pictured. I have had a go at these with nitromores to remove the paint and check for casting cracks. Can't see any. They are unmolested (I was about to machine them out) but now have PMO manifolds, so these are spare. No real idea how much these are worth, but try a reasonable offer please. Graha...

Yes, the 40 are tight for the 3200cc, but Josh Saddler and Bob Watson were sure that they would give me the 'hillclimb' engine. Josh was hillclimb Champion in his 911 in the 80's so will fully understand the characteristics needed. I think I will go fo the 33's as you can bore them out a mm or maybe...

Target: Engine running (ish) by end of April and suspension set-up.

Can you recall Jonathan the spec of the engine at all?

David thinks there are trick bits inside, but I'm not so sure.
I think it is stock.

A (very) quick debate: Webers

Car: Hillclimb racer with a 3.2 engine, stock (as far as I know). Exhaust: 2.4 small tubes. Intake: Weber 40 IDT on PMO 40mm through manifolds K&N with rain shields Question 1 to be answered: What choke size? 1 Advice from someone who has tuned lots of these before: 34mm 2 Bruce Anderson: 35mm (...

Thanks Mike. Does that mean you make them? In youroil site I can get real Weber chokes in 1 mm increments for $105 a set of 6! PMO now sell them at $100 and as I need some insulators and fuel rails I might as well get the lot from PMO. This means a set of tuned webers for about £400, which seems ok?...
