993 RS parts and number plate. NOW SOLD
Have a set of original Speedline Wheels for a 993RS which I recently sold. Rears are mint condition, fronts have usual white marks around the bolts. All have the Speedline for Porsche logo. I bought these new from Porsche perhaps 10 years ago and very light use since. They are unrestored but undamag...

Sun-visors on a 72 car
A further question re. restoring a 1972 2.4S please. I cannot recall what colour the sun-visors were. The headlining is ivory of course but I have seen all ivory sun-visors to match, but also ivory on one side, black on the other. is there a kind soul out there with a 1972 car who can tell me what i...

If you want the best and are prepared to pay for it go to Norfolk Premier Coachworks. They do all the work for Maxted Page. They won't be cheap though.
I think they did the Tangerine 2.7RS at Hexagon now so have a look at that.

Hi, Have not posted on here in while. Looking for some help please! Seeing the Eric Clapton documentary I came over all wistful seeing an orange 911. I used to own a tangerine 1972 2.4S. I sold it 20 years ago. I have now tracked the car down and have bought it, 30 years after I first acquired it. I...

Eric Clapton's 911
Hope some of you caught the Eric Clapton documentary on the BBC last week, called Life in 12 Bars or similar. Highlight for me was the shot of him arriving at a recording session in a lovely Tangerine or possibly Signal Yellow 911. Looked like a 2.2S but could not be sure. Car looked glorious and ve...

Re: Can anyone identify this colour
I cannot work out exactly which orange the car is in the link. But I used to own a tangerine/blut orange 2.4S (sore point) and I had it in Hong Kong and then brought it back to the UK with me. It looked completely different in the brighter sunshine in Hong Kong, almost a salmon colour. Back in the d...

Re: Any Hong Kongrrs out there?
I used to have a tangerine 2.4S in Hong Kong and I bought my 993RS there. Have you thought of contacting the Porsche distributor there, Jebsen? Or the local Porsche club? I assume you do not have the original registration document for the car. You may find long term that the car is worth more in Hon...

Re: Selling a 911S...
I have had good experience dealing with Neil at the Hairpin Motor Company, he sold a 993RS for me and was a delight to deal with. He's totally straight in my experience. He's based in Wiltshire and in my case achieved a very good price.

On road tuition
Now that Bernard Aubrey and Mike Franey have retired, are there any on road and track instructors that anyone has used recently and would recommend? I went out with Bernard a couple of times and taking a Porsche around the Chobham test track was quite an experience as I recall. Must be at least 12 y...

Re: Central London 911
It's not Vic, checked. He's out in the Slope. Must be the same one you describe above and yes wider tyres. I had a similar car for years (still regret selling) so was delighted to see it. I think it had twin pipes either side. Looked graet.

Central London 911
This morning I saw a Tangerine K reg 911 driving through Regent's Park down Portland Place into Central London at around 8.20am. First three letter os the reg are JUU I think and it's on black and white plates. Despite best efforts did not get close enough to see if it was a S, E or T. Thought the d...
