Re: Bowing out
Saddened to see this Thomas, but I understand that things and circumstances change. Having been here since the very early days, I'd like to thank you for creating such a wonderful place to hang out that has become much more than just a car forum. I love reading the watch thread and about others marq...

new steel wheels
Although my car is currently on the market, I finally got around to refitting it with steel wheels yesterday. They are 4 1/2 inch Beck wheels with an ET of 45 that I brought back from the states about 2 1/2 years ago now and had painted white. The chromed Sprintstars have gone to someone for their s...

356 registry badge, 100mm filler cap incl. neck, 356 h'brake
I'm having a bit of a clear-out ahead of the potential sale of my Chesil..... These parts are surplus to requirements whether it sells at this time or not. 356 registry badge. Bought here, then I went to fit it and found I already had one (doh!) £33 posted http://www.chesiloutlaw.com/forsale/ss/reg....

Re: Becker Europe 2 stereo ?
What is the last photo of? The Becker Europa II stereo has a multi-pin din connector that by default has a blanking plug with pair of jumpers in it. This is the radio output (stereo) and the amplifier input (stereo). The tape deck should plug into that connector. The third picture appears to be of a...

UKE 388 B
Does this belong to anyone on DDK?
Some paperwork regarding its sale at Christie's in 1983 and detailing its original owner came into my possession today which I thought would be a nice addition to the current owners history file.

Re: HELP needed from internet/e marketing guru
Ian, It sounds, from your booking situation generally, that your best bet would be to find yourself an online booking system service - and one that connects its (your) data to googles service. Given the number of small B&Bs in the same situation there must be companies out there that offer handl...

Re: Next Project
I'll be interested to see your solution for this Rich. Intermeccanica have the best solution i've seen to date but that involved moving the windscreen back to leave a thin transparent seal to the glass without a visible track so isn't really practical on an already built car..... and makes a whole h...

Re: DIY MSD tach adaptor
Timely and interesting... (honest!) We made GaugePilot's RPM input require just such a feed, but have already seen a customer running a MSD box. In retrospect we should have built in a 12V square-wave input as well as the high voltage one, but we have to live with what we have for now (most will run...

Sadly Alan has recently decided to retire and has currently shutdown operations at DTA. Keith - I wrote up my experiences of putting together an EFI system for my Type4 into 6 articles for the speedster club magazine. Does this assume too much knowledge to be any help to you? Link is here:- http://c...

Been putting this bit of for a while, as I'm more of a metal guy and a few of you guys are dabbling in grp. What would you suggest the best way to do the dash. Chesil cut-out for the ignition and indicator body. Why!!! Anyhow it needs filling, what's the best way of doing it. Will all the clocks et...

Re: IVA thread
Good to have that clarified Rich as it has always concerned me that it may be permissible. However, on that basis you'd fail on lots of other counts. Such as side repeater rearward visibility with the doors open, or not being able to see where you are going with the bonnet open, or ... Is that reall...
