Couple of these and bit of 15mm copper pipe with a a smear of Fernox LS-X to help seal the grooves up.

There must be a compression fitting option to get the car up and running until repair funds are available.

You will have to properly clean up those ends and try and remove the grooves also ensuring no contamination gets inside.

Also you can access the plate from the rear arches. There should be a cover over them to prevent crud ingress, might be worthwhile giving them a blast from the back and you'll also be able to see the state of the plate itself. If it's rusty then it'll probably crumble up if you put too much pressure...

I run this size on my normal 3.2 with same tyre size.

The smoke clears pretty quickly when happens occasionally and isn't really an longevity/wear issue. Just seems a slightly spendy solution to a very minor problem. Just my uneducated opinion though

25mbps down and 1.9mbps up here that's fibre too. No mobile phone signal either unless you walk 100m up the road.
