Well it's pretty easy, just get a spot weld cutter and drill out all the welds. Once you’ve drilled it, you normally have to get a screw-driver + hammer behind the weld to pop the remnants of the weld. The perimeter welds are fairly easy but there are a few in the middle that are harder to get but i...

FWIW, I had exactly the same problem with the steel airbox not allowing the engine lid to close. I fitted the K+N rain hats but I wish I'd had a stock airbox as I have a feeling the K+N's are quite a lot noisier.

Sounds like a nightmare to start with. I'm interested what the hole behind where the battery would be was made for. Also what engine mount bar is that?

As Ian says it has a lot of conversion pieces and I like the fact that despite the nasty rust someone has gone to the trouble of converting the dash for a 914-6 ignition key and indicators, fitted a factory tank, factory mount, heat exchangers, CDI, factory engine tin, hand throttle etc

ask me about chain tensioners...then leaky valve covers. It'll be something for you to play with or you can just sit there and stroke it's fan cowl lovingly 8)
