Barry
Thanks for that. Did you need to use a ball joint splitter on the track rod end??

Steering rack gaiter split
The 912 has failed the MOT with a split gaiter. Can anyone advise if this is an easy job to replace, or is a garage job. Also where can I source a replacement (new or in very good condition).

AGA BLUE (6608) Paint
Anyone know where I can get a spray can of paint which closely resembles the original AGA Blue of my 912? I've only got a few tiny bits to touch up, and so would rather not go down the route of having some paint specially made up.

Silver 911S - Guilford
I'm not sure - it looks very similar, and is RHD, and has chrome FUCHs, but I don't think it was SIL, and I think it had chrome horn grills (would I be right??). Anyway, both lovely, and I guess worth mucho dosh.

Windscreen washer jets and MOT
I got an MOT advisory warning last year about the strength (!!) of my windscreen washers; they are now about useless, and although I don't normally drive in the rain, the MOT is due next month and I think it might fail on this item. Can anyone advise as to whether this is common on these old (1967) ...

Wanted, NARDI Steering wheel hub for early Porsche. Or even a MOMO, but the PCD is different I think, so I will need an adaptor.

GENTS OMEGA 'GENEVE' 9ct GOLD WATCH
Andy Very very spooky. As soon as I saw this I just had to look in our old tin trunk and, sure enough, there was my fathers retirement gift - a Gents Omega Geneve 9ct Gold wrist watch!!. I think he retired in the mid 70s, and wore it till he passed away in 1981. It still has the original strap - exa...
