Re: Carpets

Hi Charlie,
No, I'm afraid you're on your own there. I cut and fitted my own using paper templates I made. It's not that hard to do, just takes a bit of time. The other option is getting a local trimmer that's willing to take it on, but that might entail getting the car to them.
Cheers

Bonnet springs adjustment

Hi, my bonnet sits about halfway up with the springs in the middle notch, so I'm thinking to move them to the forward notch. What is the recommended method to do this as the springs are really hard to extend. I see a stop pin on the hinges, so do I slide this out to allow the bonnet to open more tha...

Re: Won't start.

Hi Charlie I'm running a 1641cc in a Speedster and although I've not experienced that issue, believe me, I've experienced quite a few others 🀣 but check your points gap is set correctly, and also check your plug leads and coil lead are secure. Double check your wire connections to the coil are the r...

Re: 914 JRZ 4914

Hi Brian,
Yes that was me. I live in Troon, and was on my way home from helping out a mate with his car in Pestwick. It was such a great day weather wise I had to take her out.
