84 JAN - 911 build date?

Hi My 911 has a first registered date of 31 JAN 84. To be historic tax I need to be build before 1 JAN. I'm assuming my car was not built in JAN and shipped to the UK, sold and registered all in a month that would be a bit keen! I hear Porsche can lookup the build date. Do I go to my local dealer? I...

Re: Rear lid wanted

I have seen a lid for sale but it looks like it has an inch of filler all over it.
Is it normal for a lid with a spoiler to have so much filler on it? The spoiler is a close fit to a stick lid right? or not?

Re: Japanese Market LHD '74RS mfi

. Very nice - but it's not a '74 RS ... This is a '74 RS: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/52422454314_3d48e1e949_o.jpg Ahhh very classy!. Love the wonky front arches on the 74RS, still look like they were made up reversing a chopped off RS 9" rear arch. the Red 74 Carrera looked real nice ...

Rear lid wanted

Hi
Looking for a reasonably priced straight 911 rear lid.
Ideally one which has had a 3.2 wing on it so has the holes (not the turbo /SC wing)
And not a kings ransom please thanks, I'm still functioning on actual worth (somewhere in the 2000's)
Hence my wait may be long :)
Thanks

Re: Howdy

They are a true 917 style but with a fake centre lock and standard 5 lug fitment, I aged the nut as it was a bit bling in bright aluminium,
