Re: Valve guide seal replacement.
Thanks Gary. I've filled my oil can with Valvoline VR1 now so I'll use that.Gary71 wrote:Looks good
Just put a drop of oil on the valve stem when you assemble it so the collet grooves don’t risk scratching the inside of the rubber.

Valve guide seal replacement.
Hi. Currently rebuilding my 1969 2.0ltr engine. I've bought the engine rebuild kit from Design 911 with all the seals and gaskets etc needed. It has the below valve stem seals to replace but I can't see how they fit the valve guides on my heads? I've checked on Design 911 and they are definitely lis...

Best engine oil for a 1969 911t 2.0ltr
Evening all. What's the best engine oil you'd recommend for my 69t 2.0ltr? I know it should be 20w50 but what brand would you recommend?
Many thanks
Wayne.

Dansk bumper or find OEM
The front bumper of my 69t is shot and not worth repairing. So should I go for a new Dansk bumper or keep searching for a OEM one? Not a lot out there and what is seems to need quite a lot of work. Not in a huge hurry as welding has been delayed a bit due to missing my slot.
Cheers.
