I’ll be in this - some of you will know me from CLM ‘23 and Spa 6 Hours ‘22 plus
my (currently dormant but hopefully soon to be restarted) 2.5 S-R (ST) project…

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
Went to a sort-of air-cooled event at C&M with Angus and family and Alastair Cauldwell in his 914/6 GT ‘Touring’, Angus driving his 356 Speedster and me in my S. Far too much ‘Max Power’ nonsense and modern supercar stuff for my tastes and friggin’ freezing too! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/...

What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
In my continuing effort to return my S to 100% ex-factory spec, I’ve replaced the ‘73-on tower shifter with a ‘72-only one (thanks greg356a!), which in turn required sourcing a new piece of salt and pepper velour tunnel carpet as the shifter hole would have been too large in the old piece… https://u...

‘72 915 5-speed shifter
I need another ‘72-only 915 5-speed shifter (ideally complete with the small springs on the underside but not a problem if not) for my 2.5 ST project. This is the non-dogleg one with reverse down and to the right and 5th above it. Please PM me if you have one. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202403...

ABW 330K
Anyone know the whereabouts and history of this ex-Strähle ‘72 2.5 ST (SR) (VIN number 911 230 0870)? The original car was apparently destroyed in the mid ‘80’s in Asia and a clone of it was built by Manfred Freisinger in the mid 2000’s. It was UK registered in May 2008 and sold by Edmond Harris in ...

Re: Porsche ST … what yellow
Only one of the 21 ‘72 STs was delivered in Signal Yellow (0921 / Dave Helmick) and 6 were delivered in Light Yellow (0495, 0538 (as stretch says), 0870, 1155, 1195 and 1417).
