Must have been an entertaining random sight at the moment someone looked out of their window to see the neighbour pinned to the floor by your foot with you standing over him waggling an angle grinder.

That's a pretty decent price.
Some folks on eBay are asking at least a couple of times that. I bought mine a couple of months ago from a guy in Germany for about £170 (all in) with the bracket and that was cheapest I could find anywhere at the time

Re: Engine grilles..
Yup... It's on... Body shop fiercely supported that perspective. For what it's worth, the new one is being sent back. The arc of the new one versus that of the deck lid would definitely require one of them to bend to the other https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220820/2033354c30cc5846efbee3841aaafec...

Re: The shite ownership cycle
Yup will be the most likely option proximity, the realisation that there's a lot of air cooled in there and the recommendations. The place where it's at right now are in the process of getting it going, I'm assuming something unseated during their pokings and proddings. As soon as that's done I'll b...

That may have been the orange with flares and a cage that was up on the ramp when I was down there.

I'd always thought they were the more modern stuff....
Popped down a few days ago .. Few long hoods, even more 356s and an outlaw that was utterly mind blowing. (They all were but this was a whole other level)

Re: front oil seal replacement (fan end)
Looks like the tab price on the website and the book ten years ago are impervious to inflation. It didn't cost 200 anythings for the bits all in, I think that's how much the covers cost https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220819/aa87fdddbc11e958c06a47c4a58a1e8e.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20...

Re: The shite ownership cycle
I've kind of gone full cycle on this - Bodywork....... The first 6 months of the project - a little pain - e.g. we would like to chop the front of your car off... hang on a mo I'll be there in 20 mins.. oh balls, yes please chop away. This garage is in my trusted adviser category... two old boys who...

Re: Authentic-ish Weltmeister 1969 stickers for 1970 cars
You, sir, are a man with skills. The PCA one is cool, the New Mexican one even cooler A long time ago I imported a T from there - the amount of red sand I bailed out of the nooks and crevices of that thing was obscene. The chap also sent me all of his spares - including a pretty much new factory exh...

Re: MFI Tuning
Yup all a bit disappointing. Though with recalibration of the lambdas it shows left 14.3 and right 13.4 at temp / idle. Very much the one wrinkle in what has been an a not too bad six months Based on the above and what I've seen Not getting to full throttle Left and right out of sync Butterflies not...

Good old Amazon prime!
So here's what the synchrometer has to say for itself....
So a little off, though have no context as to if the values are what should be expected
