Re: Wtd: Carrera 2.7 / Carrera 3.o rear spoiler

Ahahaha, DDK is always “a point”: thanks for the welcome. @robfrost: thank you for the offer, I actually have the whole collection of spoilers, including a glassfibre replica one mimicking somewhat the Iroc 2.8 RSR, but this time it’s a good friend who bought a 76 C3 coupe. …And he is in Belgium. So...

Re: Wtd: Carrera 2.7 / Carrera 3.o rear spoiler

Hi Mick,

Good to hear from you. Gosh: I bought years ago parts from your 3.2 like the tool roll and document holder etc.

Sadly, in this instance it would need to be a time appropriate one for a 76 Carrera 3.

Kind regards,

Bert

Wtd: Carrera 2.7 / Carrera 3.o rear spoiler

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a 1975 c2.7 or 1976 Carrera 3.o, or at a push any 930 3.o variant, rear spoiler.

Preferably with the rubber lip in good condition.

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Re: Question about trailers...

All my classics are on one policy and I have the trailer insured as well: from memory it was 139 per annum, for a cover of 100k and fully comprehensive. I have trailer locked with a towing attachment, stored in a farm building next door (CCTV and alarmed) but, this being the countryside, it pays to ...

Re: Just a big 'thumbs up' for Heritage Ins ...

Hi all, Just to add to this: following Andy's recommendation, I contacted Nick and I have insured the whole shebang with them. As a bonus, both Andy and I will get a £25 cheque in the post as it deals with a multicar policy! That'll pay for a few vino's during a meet. Hope everyone keeps safe, and t...

Shipping from LA: current prices

Hi everyone, Popping back up on the good old DDK forum again, rather than using the private messages and social media channels. There might be an opportunity to import something pre-72 from California for my Liege-Brescia-Liege 2021 entry. Thanks to Mark (912UK) and a few other USA Porsche brothers,...

dancing derwish of a tacho

Hello DDK, Long time no read.... sadly I have been forgetting about my 911 over the past couple of years as I realised I got a bit afraid of using it. The old Alpina let me down, then the 924S broke down (mice eating wireing  ) so out came Jazi, the Carrera 3. Who? What? I have registered her ...

engine lid locking mechanism renewal: how-to needed

Dear members of this aircooled Parish, after 13 years of issues with my rear engine lid popping open on my '76 C3 targa, and no adjustment in the world able to convince the car otherwise, I took the decision to change the lock pin and mechanism. Howeverrrrr.... is anyone able to point me to a how-to...

Re: 928's - any good?

Phil,

It could be that your white 928GT was first owned by an owner in Pershore called Dave P. IIRC, he picked it up from the factory.
If so, I can forward you his contact details.

Cheers,
