Porsche 356 GB stickers

Hi all, saw one of these excellent stickers on a Betty Haig car and wondered if anyone had a source. They may have been issued by the 356 Register of PCGB and were possibly designed by Patrick Amos - beyond that I am struggling, despite having consulted the obvious suspects. Grateful for any leads. ...

Re: RHD 912 numbers

Hi there, does anyone know anything about chassis 353412? I believe bought new in July 1966 by Betty Haig and first registered BLH 7. That plate removed in the following year, so may have reverted to a D registration at that point. Curious to know any further details. many thanks, Robert

Fwiw, I believe Richard's car is one of the last 1965 MY cars, along with 302029 and 302030

Re: More from Big Brother, aka DVSA

Love these threads Keith. Can't believe we don't have the right to build some nonsense in our back garden from leftover bits of balsa and two lengths of sellotape without anyone telling us it's a bit silly. Also the right to drive our Porsche down the public road and deafen anyone in earshot. Hell y...

A lovely-looking car. Were there other 356s and early 911s? Best, Robert

Hi Sean, what makes you say that? I have seen covered and uncovered and would not be certain which was original and which was not. Best wishes, Robert

Lovely pair of cars Andy. I particularly like the look of the Fulvia - is it a 1.3HF?

I sold the Kremer-bodied 911 a few years back. Will see what contacts say about the red 356

Re: Is this Mickie Most’s first Porsche 356?

Nice car, nice story. Is the number plate 68 BTR? I can make some enquiries and/or Mike Smith - who is the real guru on all of this - will be along in a min! Best, Robert

1959 RHD 356A

We have a lovely 1959 RHD 356A for sale. It’s an AFN-supplied matching numbers car in solid aquamarine and red. It had a small number of owners and an interesting history before being restored some ten or more years ago. It was then sold to a prominent collector who had additional rectification/deta...

Re: More scary cr@p from DVLA

Back on the DVLA, the reality is, as usual, rather mundane. I received helpful input from representatives of Motorsport UK. It seems a small number of clear and obvious errors, to use football terminology, may have occurred. There is dialogue on the issue and the classic movement's interests are bei...

Re: More scary cr@p from DVLA

I am not sure how far we get by belittling government officials. It's clear some old cars can reasonably said to be radically altered from their original spec - and subject to whatever consequences might flow from that - and others aren't. I don't think many people would see a roll cage - quite poss...
