Re: 67 912 my own take
So as I said, I started by just collecting parts. So, a complete engine was one of the first things. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200330/f4ef943a7feb2ea1a37b5cf745f5683b.jpg Hooked up to the 901 5 speed box to try it out, it’s a runner :) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200330/a5cb80bede8da...

Re: 67 912 my own take
My plan is to build it as a bit of a race/911R inspired build, but with a full interior for now. I want to somehow figure out how to get a child seat in the back. As this will be our only aircooled for the family until my VW Squareback project is also finished. I don’t intend on building a replica o...

I will look forward to learning/seeing more about your 912. Mysterious looking shop it came from.
Best, John
It came from part of a very large collection, from a well known guy who is no longer with us unfortunately, it was all being sold off. Mine was one of the last ones out.

Re: 67 912 my own take
Got it back to our unit and just started collecting parts that were missing, thought I’d just focus on getting everything together before properly starting on it, as had other things going on outside of cars, as well as another Mercedes I was getting on the road first. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.c...

67 912 “Scruffy B*stard”
Thought I’d start a thread on my 67 912 that I picked up in August 2019. I bought it along with a big old L319 Mercedes van and had originally thought there is no way I can afford to keep it, but the Mercedes sold almost instantly meaning this gets to stay. I am an aircooled VW person really but hav...

Re: Another new guy!
I’ll try to keep a build thread going, I’ll be sticking a wanted ad up for some of the bits and pieces I still need to find soon. The workshop is our man cave, not a business. Me and two mates share it. The one room you can see in the photo above is the main room, there is a 2 post lift just out of ...
