Re: Brake pedal push rod, rear bumper guards, shift rod link

Hi, thanks for that, I should have been more clear, I just need the connector bit between the end of the rod and the nose of the gearbox. I assumed all of them were dual circuit by 67, didn’t realise there were single circuit 911’s and 912’s. I’ll have to check. If it’s single then I’ll want to conv...

Hi all, need few bits for my 67 912. Need the actual push rod from brake pedal into master cylinder, and all the pedal return springs, clutch/brake etc. Haven’t been able to find anywhere that sells these bits unless I’m missing the obvious. Also need a shift rod linkage Early rear bumper guards, pr...

Re: Anyone have a decent wiring diagram for a 67 5 gauge car

Thank you that’s great, and appreciate the advice on the in-line fuse, that is odd but I shall definitely add one in. My car is all wired except for the gauges, it’s all there, just did it know what wire was what.

Re: Tyre choices

Decision made, I’ve put my Torq’s up for sale, I’m going for a narrower wheel and have ordered 165 r15 Pirelli CN36’s :)

Re: Aircooled night at C&M ?

I popped over in the Merc as Porsche and VW aren’t on the road yet, it’s only down the road from me and I know the guys who organised it well. I had to leave early but was already some incredible cars there at that point.

Re: Tyre choices

These are actually really making me question wether I should sell my originals on and get some Group 4 Torq’s in 5” and then run the 165 Pirelli CN36’s I have driven one and I get fully where you guys are coming from the 165 tyre definitely makes it feel more nimble. I haven’t driven one on the 185/...

Re: Tyre choices

That’s some great info thank you guys! I’m determined to get the 7” ones on, but worse case I have been tempted by some Group 4 Torq’s especially as they are going to be doing 5’s and 5.5’s soon, so could then go with a 165 CN36. But I already have my genuine Torq’s, oh the choices haha

Re: Uncovering original paint

Have a search on TheSamba.com forums for uncovering original paint. Oven cleaner is great, I’ve had good results with Cif and a scrubbing sponge also if the paint Over the top isn’t great. Picking off with a razor blade sometimes if it’s flakey.
