Hi Graham, thanks for the kind words about my 914-6 - it was in for a bit of spring fettling. If you recall we met in a hotel car park in Botley for the clandestine swap of some stainless steel headers. They didn't fit in the end which was a shame. Took a look at the Lola when I was there -it is a w...

Hi Steve, I didn't realise it was you who pointed out my lights were on - you should have said you were a fellow ddk'er! I think we need to invent some sort of DDK masonic wink/handshake to identify us! Many thanks for the photos. It was a very low key event, but I loved the Ford Escorts. Standing u...

Kev,

you are a cheeky devil -

176HP for the old orange beast. Happy with that , bang on what it did last time and torque curve has got even better with a bit of running in.

Hi,

my 914/6 runs 2.4E engine with 2.4S barrels and pistons / weber carbs/ 2.4E cams and was dyno'ed on Bob's Dyno (well actually he rebuilt the engine). My power/torque curves were close to textbook smooth with none of the dip exhibited on some of the plots so maybe it's the S spec cam?

Hi Wayne,

thats amazing - the engine sounded sweet as a proverbial nut, i would have though a rocker issue would have made some noise! Best of luck - it certainly looked quick for 184bhp on the footage.
