Changing it is not too bad, its a bit fiddly but its easily achieved, buy a standard one, it will last well enough, I think the latter ones are slightly shorter, Euro car parts often have them on special offer.

Ahh, I missed that :oops:

what do we think that car was worth, I am lookIng for one to use and enjoy, so not too fussed about the originality issues it had, but I do no not want a restoration project either.
