ok have just looked at pictures.That is an early handle.Its "pot metal" which is difficult to plate,weld or do anything with.I finally managed to find a way, to fill in divots with this,but its very hit and miss.Not sure the anodisation process will work. Other options are paint or cerako...

Your in for a lot of work to remove the chrome.Plus of course the substrate plating.Better to find a plater who can do it in a tank,who anodises as well. Well that’s the plan to do, but I’m not sure if this cromed handle will fix the anodize bath even after removed the crome. I have heard that not ...
