Are you sure about those temps the tyres reach graham.
I have looked at hoosier,i cant see a soft enough compound,really struggling to get a rear tyre.

What car is it for,i have raced on them,great tyres and a light carcase,have driven on the road and very good.

Jason,Barry with 904 in andover uses the brass tubing as well as NB.The ends can be resweated back on also.
If CC was of any concern of reputation they would fix it for you,it is not a big deal for them.
Perhaps they just dont like northerners
