1963 karmann cabriolet beetle

Been in 2 minds whether to sell this for a while now, but realistically I haven’t got the time to do it atleast untill my Porsche is done, so it would be better off going to someone who has the time. It’s an extremely solid 1963 cabriolet, originally Yukon yellow with an olive roof. (All still there...

Glad to see the panel turned up in good time and that it’s been of use to you, great looking project you’ve got there.

Re: 1967 912 Resto *updated*

Only a minor update, but got my washer bottle stand and washer pump bracket from restoration design last week and got it welded in. The body is now completely ready for paint, it’s booked in, just waiting for the call for me to take it up there. https://i.ibb.co/NWtDXwn/7-E82177-D-2419-449-E-9127-99...

Re: 1967 912 Resto *updated*

Little update, Chris from sublime classic restorations popped round on Saturday to help sort the battery tray and also get the gaps right on the decklid, while I done the doors. Forgot to take pictures while we where doing it, but got the finished products. The battery tray that was sent with the pa...

Fuchs, 15x6 and 15x7

Fully polished set of fuchs, had intended putting on my 912, but have since picked up a set of American racing and another set of fuchs, so have no need for these. Pair of 15x6 and a pair of 15x7, one has a wider centre cap hole, but once correct caps are fitted it’s impossible to know. No centre ca...

Re: 1967 912 Resto *now painted

Yeah that would have been mine. Cheers man. So I’ve been drilling trim holes in the new panels along the sill and rear quarter, but also working out where the battery sits exactly. Managed to forget to weld in the bit the strap clamps down to, just wondering if anyone has a picture I can use for ref...

Re: 1967 912 Resto *updated*

Thanks guys. Yeah they’re original magnesium. I’ve had a few sets of mags in the past, bbs and ronal. Also very lucky to have a company local to me that specialises in the repair of alloy and magnesium wheels, they actually repaired one from this set that was cracked. But you’re right, I’ll be getti...

Re: 1967 912 Resto *updated*

Received the car back from envirostrip yesterday. Very pleased with the results. It’s been stripped again, de rusted to be sure none of the bare panels had started rusting while the work was being carried out and sealed in novol primer. I started hanging a few panels last night, to check the gaps et...
