Re: Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)

I binge watched your build today. Top efforts - and what a lot of body prep - bless, it had had a tough life up til this point hadn't it. Colour looks great btw - I do like an orange widebody (except for trump) Jason's on here and Russ' previous car both look great in that colour. So - what about t...

Re: Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)

Finally done editing the latest video. This week I have been busy painting stripes. Some of you may not like the colour choice, but I think it works. Have a look and let me know what you think.

Well I am straight back into it, and after what seemed like an eternity of sanding, I have finally got the body painted.

Here is the video.

Re: Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)

Watched all your diy videos, great. I too will be considering a re spray to my 73T and had thought of a plastic garage just for this. Do you need a filter on the incoming air as much as the outgoing air? Yes you do, mostly to keep dust out, as that is the biggest bug bear of painting your car. You ...

Re: Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)

Thanks Jonathan, Doing the videos at least gives me the kick in the butt to keep going. Considering I have been sanding now for what feels like forever, trying to get everything perfect so I can paint the thing. I just have to keep going to try and get it painted so I can get the next video out at t...

Home Built Hot Rod (Full video build)

Hey guys, I am an Aussie guy building my dream 911 in my shed. I have been at it for a while and some of you may have seen my build thread in other places, but for those of you who haven't I will share some of the highlights. I bought a very rough US delivered '74 911 which had been (very roughly) c...

Re: 930 Backdate

Hi Jeff, Watched your Youtube films, excellent stuff. Always looking for a good restoration thread on here, with plenty of photo's. Your story would be worth documenting. I already have threads on a couple of other forums, but I suppose starting one up on here would be good too. P.S. Sorry for the th...

Re: 930 Backdate

You had a long trip to CLM Jeff, I thought my 1435 mile round trip was far enough! Haha, yeah but I didn't drive all the way there, although my rental car was one of the absolute worst cars I have ever driven in my life. Why anyone would test drive an auto Fiat 500L and think, yeah that is great I ...

Re: 930 Backdate

Hi Jon, Just wanted to say you have done a fantastic job. I stumbled across your car at Le Mans, and was actually directed here after posting a pic of it on my instagram. The level of detail is amazing, and I hope my RSR build comes out half as good ;) Jeff (aka, the hack car builder 'Home Built By ...
