Re: Old new member with 911E -73 race car

Indeed! 8)
I had a look at your cars. Amazing details!! Definitely sets up standards high for others! :D
I’m going to build mine to have fun on track and possibly race, but would like to achieve that tidy attention to detail look too!

Re: Old new member with 911E -73 race car

Hi Clive, Glad you made it safely back without aircon lol At least you can open your windows unlike me with my car if I want to keep the slide slots for my future racing events :D I’ll let majordad recover from your trip. I also want to visit in Ireland soon! Have to plan something maybe around some...

Re: Old new member with 911E -73 race car

That is very cool! Would you happen to have any results stored from those days? It had a sunroof and it is making a bit of reappearance lol. Good excuse to go for fiber roof possibly? Not sure if a good idea, have to talk to someone smarter about it. I have found very few pictures of it and would lo...

Re: Old new member with 911E -73 race car

Thank you :) Engine and gearbox is out and it has been standing for few years now. I’m still trying to make a plan where to start lol Not looking forward to spend all time time looking at it all stripped, but I think it is unavoidable thing with these old cars, sooner or later. Well, that looks very...

Do you know this car? 911E -73 ex race car MML 134L

I’ve recently bought this car and I would like to find out about the history of it. Originally colour was Gemini metallic and after that viper green (I believe it raced in UK in green) and now orange. I bought it from Ireland where it was raced and apparently won porsche open championship, but I don...

Re: Porsche aircooled jumble(Stumble), August 6th, Surrey

Update on pitches!
Due to a lot of requests, we now offer also smaller pitches.

If your parts fit in the boot of a 911, £5 to charity.
If your parts fit on a table £10 to charity.

Re: Hill climbs in UK

Yes , my "advice" would be to start by doing a few sprints first (to get a feel for driving the car quickly) .. then move. You will need a competition licence (not a race one) to compete in MSA events. Can't comment on locations , as all I have done have been in Ireland .... and style of ...

Something with airbags and good tyres for sure.
Front wheel drive could be better, maybe VW golf?

New member Surrey, UK 997 and 911T project

Hi all, I bought my first Porsche 2 years ago and fell in love! It was 997 2S with aero kit, black on black. Later it got some mods like full supersprint exhaust with long tube headers and center exit, GT3 throttle body, lowering spring, ECU remap and some cup car parts. But now my new love is takin...
