car covers

Has anyone got, i think they're called, umbrella covers for their cars?

These are the type that cover just the windows and engine lid. I've seen them on 914 world but ideally i'd like to buy one over here. I did once find one but i can no longer find who made/sold it. Any idea's?

Re: Oil temp and pressure gauge and sender

The oil sender is in a taco plate on the bottom of the engine next to the oil strainer cover. chances are if you've looked all over and haven't seen it you will need to buy a taco plate and sender. neil at boatyardbuses.com is the place for this. then you will need a 200 degree sender, same as 911 b...

Re: RHD 914

i watched this auction too. it is bashed up and rotten. the dash is bodged and the metalwork looks awful.

i hope whoever bought it has deep pockets.i couldn't even see it worth that much in parts.

i'm also sure it's been up for sale in the last year or 2.

i have front suspension suspension a arm for the right side if you are sat in the car or the left side if you are stood at the front looking at the car. £50 postage will likely be costly and this is extra. i also have 4 15" steel rims, late style (gt?) 5.5j with offset of 40. £100 the set and t...

Re: Registering an 914 import (US) with the DVLA

i tried a lazy way to register my 74 cali impirt after owning it for 2 years. you need some sort of nova reference, the importer should have given this to you. dvla have some access to this system. for a standard historical vehicle registration you do not need an mot. however as you are/have increas...

Re: Acceptable garage width for an early 911?

Look up the dimensions on wikipedia and add 60% (30% each door as a ball park figure until you get confirmation. That will give you a close estimate to work with for now. The additional 60% will be greater as the doors don't open to 90 degrees of the a pillars.

The place that i've seen is around £100pcm which i'm happy with. Did you have any issues with insurance? I spoke with my insurer today and have a dozen or so questions for the storage company.
