My 73 has bonnet coloured underneath, but can't say for sure when that changed. B.Johnsons book doesn't mention this either unfortunately, so have to pass

Assuming you can currently open your glovebox, once you have the tumbler out of the lock, it is exactly the same process:

Hey Roger, If you do have your "main" key for your car, it is actually quite straightforward to amend your glovebox lock to that key, even with very little experience. I have done it myself on the three locks, having bought my car without the glovebox lid, and not the correct door handles....

Hi Stefan, You could of course stay original, break the bank, and go Mahle. Nickies seems to be a great alternative for cylinders, but are roughly in the same budget. They often come with the forged JE pistons. If you are not looking to build a track / racing car, in my mind, I am ok for not splurgi...
