Who sells correctly shaped horn grills for a 1971 911T Targa?
Hi All, I have searched on this subject but not found the answer. I am restoring my 1971 Targa. When I purchased it, it was wearing black horn grills. I bought some cheap repros from Pelican. They were from Tasker Metal Products. The bonnet didn't fit well. The gaps at the side of the bonnet were in...

Re: Wiring Harness - which supplier?
Thanks for the feedback with regards Kroon. I have found their website and tried to order from them. However there seems to be a problem with Credit Card processing which is likely to be nothing to do with them but I cannot place an order nonetheless.
I wonder how I can get round this.
Cheers, Neil

Wiring Harness - which supplier?
Hi all, I am at the point of needing to purchase replacement Wiring Harnesses (Tunnel and Trunk) for my 1971 911T. My existing wiring is shot (cut up) and my car was originally a LHD car so the wiring has suffered a great deal of bodgery. Does anyone have a recommended supplier that they can point m...

Re: Restoration of my 1971 911T Targa
I have been working on some of the bright work which got some wear and tear as is to be expected. I will be replacing the rubber mounting strips and bump strips but cleaning up the aluminium trim itself. Re: Restoration of my 1971 911T Targa
Yes quite pleased. I think I am going to keep the electrical bits as they are. I want to get the balance right between tidy and restored. There is a label on Bosch regulator. https://i.ibb.co/FqS9HMC/C8-C789-C0-6-BFC-46-BB-9080-744-BF589-E167.jpg https://i.ibb.co/qnxDgSk/24-AA0-B4-E-49-A3-49-BA-A45-...

The Second attempt has been far more successful with regards the preparation and painting of the panel. https://i.ibb.co/LrQ6PNj/24-B7-A542-2-EC9-40-B8-80-B3-6-F12-CBC38-AFE.jpg I have cleaned most of the units to be reinstalled and am part way through sorting out the short wiring loom and connector...

Re: Restoration of my 1971 911T Targa
Well I tried to persevere with the painting sanding back a little and trying to get rid of the imperfections. It was clear that I needed to get back to completely bare metal before starting again. It goes to show that cutting corners wastes more time than doing it properly. https://i.ibb.co/xFz27Zv/...

Thanks about the advice regarding the check straps. I will look into whether they are repairable. Today I have been cleaning up the engine bay electrical panel and associated wiring. Hi Rob, photos would be really helpful. Any information regarding the wiring looms and how everything pieces together would be really good.
