Great to catch up on this thread.
I finished my 72 T and need to add some photographs.
I also have a 77 Targa sat in the US and I would like to use it as a base to modify and have some fun.
Changing the interior to black was a great move BTW. Looks great.

Re: My '72 911T
I hope you have great health and lots of parts to fit at this time. I wish I had access to a garage and a half completed restoration right now!

Any recommendations Jonny? (restored by Jonas @ JZM btw)Jonny Hart wrote:Just be aware that some general alternator shops can’t bolt the 911 alternator to their test rigs. You might need to lend them the fan, fan housing and pulley.

1972 911 Alternator refurbishment
I have a 72 911 T that has a slightly low output on the alternator at idle (light comes on and its quite noisy). Its the french branded one. Any advice on where to send it for a rebuild?
Thanks

Ohh..let the fun times begin!
Great detailing and clearly someone who cares about all the little things is working on your car.

Thanks Its Signal Yellow. The Glasurit code is 7210. Ironically, its probably a bit more orange than yellow to my eyes but it really does look lovely in the flesh. The dash paint is superb too. The painter was explaining that its a super tough finish and again nice to work with from his point of vie...

Thanks. I keep going to see it. When I leave the garage, I have that feeling when you leave the hospital after you've been to see your new baby...I want to bring it home!

She painted!! The bodyshop used Glasurit 22 and it looks stunning. This is the traditional solvent single stage paint. The effect is that the colour pigment is not seen though a laquer and the depth of reflection etc is simply amazing. The painters loved using it The painter is super talented. Virtu...
