The original soundproofing was a bit brittle and lifting very easily. So i decided to have the whole thing removed and to ensure that no rust etc was present. Its interesting to see that the cars appear to have been painted black on the entire floor...fortunately no rust..just a beautifully original...

The garage is making great progress. They are adding a very light skim of modern filler..most of it will be removed when block sanded. The rear shelf is made by DANSK.
