Re: A few parts needed

Hi Dave,
If the original door pull you need is the same as that on a 73, speak to Gary Cook. I bought a batch of these, kept a couple and sold the rest to him to use on his restorations.
Kind regards

Re: Front bonnet & engine lid struts ...

Hi Andy,
I used Meyle 440 160 3840 when I had my car stored and they have been fine since then. Not too strong to push up the bonnet near the hinge and I have not had any issues with the lid dropping either. They are £15.22 on eBay

Hi Brendan,
I have seen it before, but that picture on the beach is lovely. Great to hear you will be getting to spend more time with your car. I look forward to doing the same when I get older.
Kind regards

Hi,

Not really a Porsche but here is a video of a flat four working model. Oddly satisfying to watch…

Re: Porsche 912 Wiring Loom

Hi Chris, You could repair what you have or just make a new central loom. I would recommend the latter. You will need to remove the old one, measure the size of each strand with a micrometer/callipers and count the number of strands. This will give you the cross sectional area of each wire. Order re...

Re: Tool kit prices

Was the Bilstein jack added at the factory or dealer? It seems like these varied around dates too.

Re: Tool kit prices

It is crazy but people do spend these amounts. It does make you wonder why they command these prices especially since every car came with one so they cannot be that rare. As some cars were scrapped these toolkits should be in surplus. In the end I bought a new one from Porsche, which I don’t really ...

It’s that time of year that is shite for some, great for others, but having discovered the wonders of AI generated images thought it would be fun for us to create our own set of DDK Xmas cards. Go to https://www.bing.com/images/create?FORM=GENILP type your thoughts and let’s see what you’ve got! ht...
