Have found that chargers take the live feed from the rivet at the bottom of the socket as opposed to the orig ciggy lighter that took it from the side of the lower springy bit. If there’s any rust in the rivet, this stops the contact. Also run uk & USA cars & have found them the same size so...

Try the Figure of 8 :compress: configuration! C3S, yes the Kart track of today was a skid pan back then. Did you ever know Dave Parr in his Anglebox? Fantastic. I sprinted a ‘63 AH Sprite at Curborough and various classes of schoolboy sized racing cars at the kart track or skid pan as we called it.
