What is unknown is the condition of the pipes as they go through the kidney bowl, the only resolution is to do it properly and replace both pipes.

That is the worst bodge job I have seen it’s been calculated and intentional by either the owner to move the car on or the repairer having committed to a fixed quotation.

My suggestion is to try your local Porsche parts centre first with the part number.
I have bought parts listed as not available on Design911 site from JCT Newcastle.

964 cylinder heads for sale.
After finding a cracked cylinder head I couldn’t find 1 for sale so I ended up buying a full set, therefore I have 5 de-coked heads complete with valves to sell individually £300 each + del. pm for any further details.

Given the situation to avoid the work and expense of doing it correctly when I worked in the AC industry it was common to sleeve a burst pipe in a heat exchanger by cutting the bends off and sliding a secondary copper pipe inside the original and brazing connectors at each end, the reduction in pipe...
