Re: 987 Cayman S
So it’s a 3.4 S 6 speed of 2006 vintage not much recent history but good up to about 5 years ago. Hardly any use since then as the owner finds the manual clutch too much. Looking at about £12k I think ?

Re: 987 Cayman S
Long time but MIGHT have found one. It has an aero kit with a gt3 style rear spoiler in silver with a black leather interior. Bad points are jumping out of second , winter tyres on ugly wheels and owner doesn’t want to spring for a bore check. Some minor wear on switch gear finishes. Need to confirm...

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........
Only sold it as I got out of it all I wanted, mine was a 100/6 with a fast road motor. All the usual suspension tweaks..Great fun car. I think an MGC might be a similar proposition.

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........
Hi guys, yes a big Healey after the 911. That too is now gone and I am carless and a bit out of touch with what's hot and what's not. I was pleased to see "my" car do well at auction the tax and premium pushed it higher than I sold for. I noticed it has has a pedal box replacement but othe...

Re: 987 Cayman S
Great looking car Jon, Hope you are keeping well. I think I'm heading in that direction for my next in a couple of years when I finally retire. I love everything you've done except the blues touches inside which to my eyes cheapen it a little ...but I reckon I could live with it .

Re: Ethanol Levels in Fuel
Agree, the Healey was re needled by Pete Lander at Sigma. My 911 was plumbed with a fuel return via a bleed valve to help prevent vapourisation in the webers. As you say it'd be a good mod for other cars too.

Re: Ethanol Levels in Fuel
It is, I never really experienced any ethanol related issues until my boat outboard refused to run properly this year, the viton tips on the float vavlves had gone solid and refused to seal and the hollow plastic floats appeared to weigh 3\4 grams more then new ones despite not having any leaks. We ...
