He's probably the result of a multitasking crossover error.....Or I was thinking about Carrie Fisher's dog.
Sorry, Thanks Darren!

Re: Wot, not another '79 Targa resto thread
Hi Peter, I hadn't heard of nitrogen testing of A/C systems before. I used work on an aircraft cooling system a few years ago and we used to connect a pump via a Standard manifold gauge set and pump to the system down to a vacuum and check that the vacuum was held for a given amount of time. This wa...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project
Hi Garry, Wow, thanks very much for the offer. I may take you up on that , need to confirm but may be passing Swindon in the next few weeks so could be ideal. Media blasting of the tunnel yesterday, not my favourite job but no horrors found. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51072391513_f58f9182db...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project
Few days off and back to it, made a start on the Left side. Looks worse than the right but don't think it will take that much longer, just slightly bigger panels. Plasma to get the floor out. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51070825881_f418827d56_c.jpg B by richard cannings , on Flickr Looks a b...

Sold to stretch,
Apologies to anyone else interested, I'd assumed that responses would be on the thread and hadn't checked messages.
Thanks
Richard

SOLD Repa front seat belts, from 1970 T, for spares
Hi There, I recently removed these belts from my 1970 911T. No tags and incomplete, they have been cut. Hopefully useful for spare parts for someone. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/50997401815_8dfbb2a516_c.jpg 20210323_144852 by richard cannings , on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/5...

No longer available -Repa Rear Seat Belts - 1969
Hi There, I recently removed these rear belts from my 1970 911T. They have tags dated 1969. Mechanisms work correctly. Overall seem in nice condition, the only thing that really lets them down is the rusty fittings as pictured (although they are covered when fitted). https://live.staticflickr.com/65...

1970 911 T Rear Seats in Black
Hi There, Recently removed these seats from my 1970 911 T. The vinyl looks in great condition the with no visible tears or damage. The vinyl still seems supple and there are no obvious signs of cracking. The backs of the seats will obviously need work. It looks like original vinyl but I can’t be not...

Wow, must be great to be working with shiny bits.
There there's defiantly lot move stuff in an IB. I was amazed now little there was in my 1970 car compared to my IB, even though I've simplified simplified by IB is much as possible, A/C Removal, backdated heat, Intensive washer bottle only.

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project
That’s great, thanks for the info everyone. Moved to the RH sill this week, new ones had been fitted but no jack point was fitted and the centre was only tacked on a few places. Had the plasma set to max to remove, forgetting that it goes through 8mm easily….. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/510...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project
Decided to make a start on the floor next, after much deliberation decided to go for restoration design panels with front/rear split……..then found that although Design 911 had them listed they has no confidence in when they would have them in stock. Dansk with a left/right split it was then. Must ad...

Great work on the seat bases, I've just seen the price of repair panels so will be having a go myself soon. Did you use a shot bag to shape them?

Great to see the inside painted, very jealous of your floor... . I don't really have much of a floor at the moment.
