I had the same symptoms Ben, as well as the occasional squeak before winter last year...

Having asked, my BMW man says he can force the fan to come on regardless of the 'hedgehog' as a test to determine how big the bill might be - ask PMJT how much the fan costs!

:shock: Lots of work there Ben!

I was proud of fitting a new temperature sensor that meant my aircon worked again until it was hot yesterday and either mt fan or the control block has packed up :cry:

Here's hoping for a few cloudy days until I can find the time to corectly diagnose and fix it...
