For the hot with ignition, I wired to the ‘upstream’ side of the switched fuse box fuses using / via an inline 5 A fuse

A word of warning - if you tidy (& hide) too well, then you’ll not be able to find things when you need them. A good excuse to buy more things though. Don’t ask me how I know.

Took many years to rot out the car the first time but now it’s reborn, it’ll probably outlive me. Shame to miss any opportunity to enjoy it now.

Didn't Jonny have it mounted the other side of the rear arch, i.e. near the rear light box. Kinda like the oil tank location? The backdate rear bumper/valance might scupper things again as it's not as deep as an IB rear valance, so your condenser might stick out like on the front. That’s his oil co...

Just a thought.. Every car I've had with A/C has the road air stream on the face of the condenser rad, then the fan behind that and then the 'hot' air escapes away to wheel well or similar. My Boxster has 2 rads for the A/C mounted this way, but i have no idea how critical the air flow is to the ge...
