Re: P O R S C H E 911T letters in black needed for '72 mode

Thanks that would be good. I have a feeling the black ones were just '72 -'73 but even if they're not right for me you might get a taker on another resto project on here.

Cheers

Re: P O R S C H E 911T letters in black needed for '72 mode

Thanks for looking. Do you know what year they are from? Perhaps they are faded. I know the black ones fade but not sure in what way.

P O R S C H E 911T letters in black needed for '72 model

Letters wanted for '72 model

P O R S C H E 911T

- orignals if possible with some patina ideally. I believe they should originally be black.

Anyone got some they would like to sell?

thanks

Hi Luke. Not wishing to complicate things but on the off chance your cousin has the original engine from my '72 T we could have a chat about the '72T engine running nicely in my car. PM me if at all interested in finding out.

Re: 1973 Lux Spec

HI Luke I'm not sure if the RHD 72 spec Lux is different. But here's some info from my COA which states it as "Comfort Equipment" and "Optional Equipment". Over the 43 years since birth a few things have disappeared but lots are still present 1. "Chrome Trims on Wheel Housin...

Re: Rear view mirror glass replacement..........

+1 on finding out how to do it. I went to a glazier and he said he could cut a new piece to fit no problem as it is apparently a flat piece. Trouble is I can't get the old piece out. He suggested warming the plastic surround but I haven't managed it. - fearing snapping the whole damn thing.

Looks wonderful !! Would love to see more pics. My car left the factory in that colour too. (Black now though). Are you doing more restoration? Looks great as is.

Already got a Volvo. Had one for years. A wonderful car that it is - and cheap as chips - it's not quite the same experience on those days away :)

Recaro Sports seats / Headrests Dilemma

Hi all I've had my 1972 T for only just under a year and we're getting on rather nicely. However, the lovely comfortable Recaro Sports seats (reasonably recovered by someone round twenty years ago in black leatherette) have no headrests. I haven't been too bothered up until now, and having no headre...

Re: lovely slate grey E round the back of Spittlefields - Th

Hi Ian. What sit of plastic do you have? Are you meaning Caterhams? Mine is so fun to drive. Dare I say it, more fun than the Porsche down a country road.

Whilst I'm here can anyone recommend a good and fair MOT centre in or near Hackney?

Cheers

Re: lovely slate grey E round the back of Spittlefields - Th

I don't think that was me either. I'm up for an East London meet though if anyone is up for it. Looking at pictures of David's car puts my old paintwork to shame but my black used to be Royal Purple!
