Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
Breakfast meet at Goodwood today… a 3.5hr round trip from Muswell Hill for me. On my last day out I ran out of fuel due to an imprecise fuel gauge (that’s my excuse) which vapour locked the system and caused the pump to ‘lock’. After a reinstall and run out to test it, it has been sitting for 6 or s...

Re: Kids in the back seats of a classic 911/912?
I installed points on the rear shelf for a 'top tether' and used the lap belts with child seats designed to take them. They weren't going to go anywhere, their spew however went everywhere - on more than one occasion - so we put a stop to that, they've never been back. https://lh3.googleusercontent....

Manual is better. But as an interesting piece of history and an example of 70’s Porsche engineering, it has its place. Here is a shot of the gear change in action in the Black Forrest if of interest.. https://drive.google.com/file/d/11Kr-JdjJ2ee7SLDOF3e_n2mZPmR9E90X/view?usp=drivesdk …and a few more...

…and now all done. Back to perfect, now just to baby it to the ceramic coat… Apparently OSC does all the resto paint work for Dukes of London. A rep. came to view progress on one of their cars, saw mine and was very interested… until… he looked inside and couldn’t see a clutch pedal… his head droppe...

3x rear light housings, lenses + front
I've been sitting on these light housings for years inspired by various resto posts, in particular this one: https://www.impactbumpers.com/forum/index.php?/topic/32171-bored-lightweight-rear-lamp-units I liked this one best as it removes the need for the rear housing, resolves the issue with lose ea...
