Re: A sorry tale

Good advice.
We have three cars here in our shop that we 'rescued' from restorers. Same thing on all three with varying degrees of fibbing. Unfinished but billed. There are good folk, and the journey from start to finish can be really nice. Just choose with care.

Which tyres for 15" 2.7S

I run a 2.7S on the original 15" fuchs. What tyres have you tried and like? I wanted something stiff!! no not like that. 185 70 15 0r 195 65 15 are the two recommended sizes I believe.
Is there anything performance orientated for my little 911?

Re: Restoring a Porsche - make it look as good new or aged??

The dilemma between authentic original, aged, distressed or new. This is only my view and being married I realize my view may not be the right one...... We have this problem on a regular basis. We have the skills to create as new or better than. Remember the US auction of two 300 Gullwing mercs wher...

Lightweight...........993.

this should appeal... I know its a bit newer than is popular here but got to be mentioned. I have a great 993 here, light, supercharged, left drive. It really is a blast to use. With classic prices as they are this may well hit the spot. No need for restoration, no worries about whether it has the r...
