I have owned 2 over the years both a daily drivers, the second was used for a 100 mile daily commute for a year while contracting. Both great cars 3.2s and a 2.7 I actually found the 2.7 more fun

Your using volts readings to measure drain?
Even with just a clock connected you will see battery voltage as you are just completing the circuit with your meter.
You need to measure in milliamps (amps)

It's because sometimes we have 3 or 4 cars in at once, some return after filming for their MOT if we did not have time before it was given back to the owner. I must say its a pleasure to work on the show, seriously hard work with tight deadlines but seeing the owners surprise makes it all worth it.

I would check voltage stabilisation first, being an electrical gauge.
