I have had 2 m100 elans, an Elise in the red white and gold colours and then finally an esprit S4s.

Loved them all and never had any big issues just the odd self tapper coming loose!

If it's the RSR in Bromsgrove then I can say yes I have had at least 3-4 cars looked after by them.

He is a ex main dealer guy but straight talking with the facts.

What I like the most is you speak with the guy that does the work on your car not just a receptionist!

That's because the bonnet covers the luggage compartment.

Take that away and the bonnet is now just a fuel filler flap

I did not mean sealing the bonnet, I meant that the luggage area blanked off so it's only a fuel tank area. Changing the vehicle after approval is like you buying a normal production car and then modifying it. There is no law against the owner doing it to his own vehicle but if for example the emiss...

How about blanking off the luggage compartment with a cover, so it's no longer useable.

The bonnet then becomes the filler cap

Think he intends to warranty the cars anyway
Warranty companies for traders want things checked, and they want them to be your cars.

There is an issue with some of the legality, your friend will be classed as a trader and as such buyers will have rights over him with regards to warranty etc

Yes the lights are incorrect but I do have a genuine rear panel to get some better locations from.
