I got a perfectly running 1.7, it was serviced just before it got pulled out, due to a conversion to a 914-6 GT

The motor came return from US and looks stunning, at this point, the restoration has taken almost 4 years, and I think it might will be ready for the first test-drive late April.

In Nov. 2014 I send my engine to Benton Performance, CA for rebuild, in late January I went over to California to pay the workshop a visit. Now, February 2016 just received my engine from Benton, completely rebuild and like new, blueprinted, balanced etc. producing more than 125 bhp...! So, this spr...

I bought the 1966 912 in the summer 2012, I drove it the 200 miles home an took it apart the next day... I just wanted some new carpets, a small rust hole to be welded up.... that´s it...? This summer 2014 it´s almost 2 years ago since, and several hours, money and decisions later, the car is nothin...
