Hi Roy, it doesn't go in to the headlight switch. That is confirmed. It does come out of the same part if the loom as the wires that go to the headlight switch. The switch has all the correct wires in all the correct connections. The wire in question is quite thick. The only other Rex wire I can see...

The thick red wire is coming out of the same part of ghe loom that has the Wires for the headlight switch. It would not reach the ignition switch.

Wire fault help
A friends t5 has starting issues and the head lights are not working. There is a very thick red wire hanging down near the headlight switch. The switch has two red wires connected in 30.

wow look what I just found http://www.classiccarsinrhodesia.co.za/Makes/Porsche.html I doubt the white with red interior 356 B is mine back in the day but strange how mine has wing mirror holes on the wings and the lid had vents like a carrera.
