Re: 1970 - Stone Chip on sills?

My 1970 is currently in storage so I cannot be sure exactly where the stone chip finishes. As an S model there are thin brightwork trims on the sills.

I'm not sure how to DM you but I'm interested in the gear lever connecting rod and also the brake master cylinder if they are still available?

Mike
All long gone except the camshafts.

Re: Wing Mirror fitment

If you are considering fitting two Durants I personally would not bother. One on the driver's side is fine. Passenger side, on the other hand, is a waste of time in my experience. The Durant mirror does not articulate sufficiently to get good reward vision on the passenger side even locating it in a...

From Angus: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20231222/cb7bb18fbed11ec029e04cf597c6efb2.jpg You pay your money and take your choice. Both Dave and I have had two pumps each sent for restoration. One of mine looked nice but would not provide enough flow / pressure for MFI. The other was fine. Neither...

The last one I purchased about 4 years ago was made in Germany. I was also told they were made in China. Worth checking out at an OPC.

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......

Given the above conversations regarding various terms used to describe vehicles I am wondering if I am also to be be subject to some opprobrium by refering to my 1972 err.....'ST' build as a 'clone'? Please be gentle due to the fact that I am much older than Graham ( 911 hillclimber) and adverse cri...

Re: Bosch MFI fuel pump

Matt, Refurbishing pumps is very much a hit and miss affair. Whilst seals and O rings are available it is the commutator that gets worn and can not be repaired rendering the pump useless.
