Right thats it. We're getting our '75 Targa S into the bodyshop this week for a full repaint. I'm going to gamble that I'll get my money back by the uplift in value when I sell it in the spring. Or at least I might be able to sell it.

I think it look awesome as my boys would say - sick even. And it must have a positive reflection on the originals I reckon.

BTW we found 2 of the Maestro's books in the back.

Both are "The ABC's....." Edition 1 & 2 bound in great big burgundy folders. Perhaps he knew the car?

There is an S badge on the engine lid & the fan housing was silver. COA applied for. I'll report back in 3 weeks.

You need to find out exactly where the noise is coming from. Get a roll of tank tape and stick it over a section at a time starting with the parts that (as others have pointed out) don't look right.
