You can also get a "letter of origin" from Porsche GB. Its not as glamorous as a COA but they issue it much more quickly if you are in a hurry. This is mainly because its signed by a staff member rather than the MD himself. COAs can take 6-8 weeks or more, LOOs about 2 weeks. Its states th...

1% sales commission might have something to do with it. There is a minimum of £350 so you would need to achieve over £35,000 to make a saving.

Bonhams and the like can take up 30% out of the sale proceeds of a car. Some competition might do them all good.

Shameless plug: We do them. We are based 30 mins from Stateside and Jim does all of our machining and supplies all upgraded parts. We four 914's in the workshop now and of course lots of campers. Yes - you need nearly £20K for a good one. Same rules apply as to all old cars when it come to rust.

Sorry I must have failed to reply to your email. The hell hole is fine as is the rest of the car from the structural point of view. No accidents, no rot or rust underneath. Runs very well, lots of history inc handbook etc. MOT done & UK reg applied for. Needs paint though.

Nice ride. We sold an identical car, same colour, model etc, last summer for £11,500 with new mot & tax. Yours looks like a bargain.
