Looking to borrow a door pin removal tool - believe it is Porsche tool P290.
Or if anyone had one they wanted to sell I would consider buying it.
I know the pins can reportedly be knocked out using a punch but I would prefer to pull the out using the right tool.

Re: correct fuel tank?
I am pretty sure Kieron's car is a UK car. It may have been to NZ and back but was originally registered here.

Re: 1964 356
I think scam. Everyone knows the value of 356s and it ain't less than £15k. Also the phone number only differs in the last 3 digits from the number in the last Swedish 'bargain' highlighted on DDK.

Spare wheel
I have this for sale as I understand my 72T would have come with 5 Fuchs rather than having a space saver steel spare. http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af9/graemecobb911/sparewheel_zpsfqpb0bdb.jpg The question is what is it worth. It looks like this item on ebay uk at £70 inc postage which is adve...

Re: 1972 RHD 911T Coupe
Today was a major milestone. From my wife's perspective it is the day she can no longer park her car in the garage for a while but from my perspective, and with the assistance on my friend Chris. the engine and gearbox are now out. http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af9/graemecobb911/EngineOut_zpsxs...

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
Removed this with the help of my friend Chris (ex-Porsche owner x3 but all water cooled): http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af9/graemecobb911/EngineOut_zpsxswzpnh2.jpg so I could take the almost mandatory photo after first 911 engine removal: http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af9/graemecobb911/Eng...

Re: Pedal box rebuild
I suggest downloading the parts catalogue from here: http://www.porsche.com/uk/accessoriesandservice/porscheservice/originalparts/originalpartscatalogue/ Then go to page 279. Just the 91 parts involved but all is explained there! There does look to have been a few changes over the years for LWB cars...

Have you tried your local Porsche centre to confirm if one is just a superseding part number for the other?
