Re: OPC Glasgow - Classic Partner launch
All these cars shown will be gone. They were a great selection but only there for two days.misteralz wrote:Cool. I'm down in Glasgow tomorrow so might just drop in for a look.
I would have uploaded my own images of the event but mine look poor compared to Tom's pictures.

Re: Step by Step guide to removing a wiring loom
It won't come out in one piece but it will come out in each individual piece. I suggest going on to the Porsche GB website and downloading the parts catalogue pdf. From that you can see the constituent parts of the loom. Even in the tunnel there are two separate parts with the main loom and battery...

Re: Worst eBay ad ever?
And they seem to think that a SWB 912 is identical to a LWB 911. Oh and they can't spell infinitely either.
At least they did not write the whole advert in capital letters as so many do.

Re: Whats it worth 2.2T engine & gearbox
It is worth most to the owner of the chassis number it left the factory with. I can't remember but where I am sure there are mentions on here of the site to check for people looking for a specific engine number. Unless you know the chassis is no longer around it may be worth checking that out first....

Re: 911 Body shell weight
Sure this has been raised on here before; it depends on exactly how much you have stripped e.g. removing doors, front wings, cut off rear wings. Assuming it is everything removed that can be removed it is somewhere around 200-250kgs at an estimate.

Re: Genuine Sport Recaro Seats......Coming soon
Welcome to DDK but this is a little confusing. Last week you were looking for seats. This week you are getting some seats and selling. Howz about telling us a bit more about your car (including pictures - there is a guide for how to do that). You could also clarify you are not a trader as 'have a pa...

Can you guess the supplying US Dealer?
The sticker on the windscreen on picture 2 was not a surprise when I saw the condition. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1971-Porsche-911T-Targa-/222012885879?hash=item33b0ffcb77:g:3wsAAOSwvUlWsGDH I know there has been recent talk about the bottom falling out of the market but I think we may see a new low...

Hi Tom, I use photobucket; when you upload the image and select it, it puts the required html tags round it for you. If you load the image directly on DDK website I think you get a flogging from Bootsy!
