LWB 911 T Steel Bumper
I now have an S bumper for my car so this LWB 911T steel bumper is excess to requirements. It has been blasted however could do with a bit more treatment as well as some repairs. It is though generally good and solid. http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af9/graemecobb911/bumper1_zps842fcf6b.jpg Below...

Re: 1972 RHD 911T Coupe
Thanks Graeme Many thanks for the advice, will try this week some time. what are you using to label the wires which wont be ripped off when pulling through?? Sorry, I missed this reply. I labelled each wire with masking tape then a bag over them all with the end taped over. Only proved that as far ...

Re: 1972 RHD 911T Coupe
Hi Adam This is the thread where I asked a similar question. http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=48613 MT suggests the technique of removing front to back is needed for 72 but may also apply to your 73. I have labelled the terminal for each wire as I removed it from the fuse box...

Re: Porsche COA
This is the type of thing that Porsche GB and I assume all other locations get to work with to produce the CoA. http://i988.photobucket.com/albums/af9/graemecobb911/coa_zps01ae25c3.jpg I got sent this when I questioned some of the incorrect details on my CoA. Some of the information can be lifted st...

Re: Baggage allowance..
Hi Bill
Remember there are usually size limitations as well as weight. I have also heard others mention not being able to bring items like dampers on so an engine is likely to fall foul of a rule or two given it has explosions take place within it in normal operation.

Re: DVLA
David I too was impressed what a fiver got for my 72 911 first registered in NI. the first registration on the mainland mentioned the original NI registration so I filled out the equivalent NI form and sent off another fiver. Unfortunately they could not find any match for it which seemed strange bu...

Re: 1972 RHD 911T Coupe
Finally, and for want of a better phrase, the nuts are off. I bought a socket with a reverse thread that was supposed to remove stuck nuts. Once tightened on to the nut it should grip it and remove it. Unfortunately all it did was tighten all the way on then strip the outside of the nut. I had the c...

Does this really count as a 911E
On ebay and listed as a 911E but with a 911T engine and a restamped chassis number. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Porsche-911E-1970-Coupe-2-4L-Engine-Manual-Gearbox-LHD-Restorations-Project-/131227716671?pt=UK_Cars_Parts_Vehicles_Other_Vehicle_Parts_Accessories_ET&hash=item1e8dc80c3f Well, at least ...
