Barbie and her Porsche 356

It is the first of April, but even so, stuck for something to watch over Easter my family settled on the Barbie film of last year, which I really enjoyed, but contained the DDK appropriateornot line: "The influence that the Porsche 356 has had on the motoring world as a whole, it can't be overs...

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day

It's a continuation of this little (much much better in my opinion) little fella:

Green 911 / 912 M25 Heathrow 29 January 2024

A rather heroically dirty (or so it seemed to me as it flashed past) green pre 1973 looking 911 or 912 was driving very fast in the outside lane of the M25 anticlockwise near to Heathrow late this morning. It's very early on but I think I'll struggle to see a more stirring sight this year.

Sorry if this has been posted before but there's something compelling about this little feller to me: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176068559619?hash=item28fe810303:g:YPsAAOSwNORlaLeG&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAAwNK9A87bMKP0zGb7AA4wWfxlz8WfyFyB19lxLPhKr5lte3L2FcZt1a87Pu2jXUbcO%2Bqa0e%2BypDJ3DlVwwl3MiRz9jb...

Re: Witches brews for cleaning inside of screens?

Saw this 'top tip' in a Practical Classics article on using clay bars on bodywork: "When the clay bar becomes discoloured, don't use it on your paint, but you could still use it for other jobs. Claying glass, for example, is a great way to deep clean it."

Re: Audi TT, any comments?

I needed a car to regularly drive from Hertfordshire to Sussex with lots in boot sometimes and wound up with a 2010 TT 4 cylinder turbo in metallic Volcano Red (SWMBO calls it brown or orange according to mood) for £6.5K presented like a new car needed suspension and tyres doing but in really nice n...

Re: To bad even for Beverly Hills CC?

I'll never forget an advert in the Exchange and Mart when that was the place you bought cars: "JENSEN INTERCEPTOR. Two cars for sale. One requiring restoration. Second, perfect, except for small underbonnet fire." You felt the stern hand of a woman presiding over the writing of it.

Good colour above too!
As this is on a new page I couldn't know what you were talking about and assumed you meant Renault 4 and 5. It didn't make sense - the headlamps were nowhere in it.

Sold for £30,100, almost twice as much as his 560SEC did:

I'd much rather have the van. That interview in Practical Classics about it is one of the best pieces of writing on cars and driving I think.
