So.... Use late R616 rods if you have them and they're in good order/have been checked over by a competent machine shop but only to 6000rpm....some say 7000 but if you're going there don't cock about....buy some Carillos....good insurance ($1500)....happy to rev to 8000rpm all day long. what's the other lever for ? a fiddle brake ? It's for staging/preloading the car so you don't have to use the foot brake (it's got one of those aswell) when preparing for the off....basically an inline master cylinder.
